- Packaged as a complete set of 8 pairs — enough to rebuild all 8 rod journals of one small block Ford V8.
- Tri-metal construction: steel backing, bronze substrate, lead-based overlay with high eccentricity and high crush factor, designed to tolerate rod bore distortion at high rpm.
- Dowel-hole variant is available separately for aluminum rod applications; this part is the plain (no-dowel) version suited to stock OE steel rods.
- Requires a crankshaft that has been reground 0.010" undersize on the rod journals — not for use with a standard-sized crankshaft.
New Old Stock (NOS) — Unused part in original condition. Packaging may show age-related shelf wear. Factory-sealed in original plastic wrap inside original Clevite box. Box shows light shelf wear, scuffing and a crease along one edge. Handwritten black marker notes on end label ('MLB 6H 010'). Bearings themselves unused and unmounted, sealed wrap intact over the part. Rubber and elastomer components such as belts, seals, and gaskets may harden or degrade during extended storage — inspect before fitting.
